Protests in Geneva

Nasrin Sotoudeh, a lawyer who has fought for human rights in Iran has been in prison for several months and was on a dry hunger strike that threatened her life. "It's people like her that the Iranian government fears," Nobel laureate, Shirin Ebadi said. Shirin Ebadi and other activists staged a sit-in in Geneva in front of the UN's human rights in order to bring attention to her situation and to the situation of other prisoners of conscience in Iran's prisons.
