PROMOTING VIBRANT CIVIL SOCIETY
Nargess Mohammadi awarded Nobel Prize for Peace 2023 "Her brave struggle has come with tremendous personal costs. Altogether, the regime has arrested her 13 times, convicted her 5 times and sentenced her to a total of 31 years in prison and 154 lashes.” "This year's Peace Prize also recognises the hundreds of thousands of people who in the preceding year have demonstrated against the theocratic regimes policies of discrimination and oppression targeting women." Woman, Life, Freedom Arseh Sevom supports the people of Iran supporting the girls and women of Iran. Arseh Sevom opposes the violence against the women and girls who have had enough of oppression and are standing up to the regime and its attempts to crush them. If you aren’t in Iran and you want to support the women and girls of Iran and the people of Iran who support them, there are things you can do. Fight against laws that restrict the bodily autonomy of people who can get pregnant. Don't entertain anti-trans and anti-woman positions. Support the rights LGBTQ+ people. Support equal pay and strengthen labor unions. Be an anti-racist. Amplify the voices of people in Iran in their struggle against oppression.
